Beta, Blizzcon, and the Podcast

As you all know, Legion Beta has begun, and once again I find myself patiently waiting for the Old Gods to smile upon me and grant me access to the still under construction, and bug-laden version of World of Warcraft known as the Legion Beta.

The release of the expansion is a mere 3-months away so there really isn’t that much time left for the beta. Just like previous betas, I’m now scouring sites and entering contests left and right in hopes of snagging a golden ticket. I’m not holding my breath this time around, and truth be told, I’ve got plenty of other things to keep me occupied. Still, it’s always nice to be part of the club.

The worse case scenario is I don’t get into the beta and everything is fresh and new come August 30th. Heck, that might actually be a best-case scenario. It’s not something I’ve experienced since Wrath of the Lich King eight years ago. That’s right, Wrath of the Lich King was released eight years ago!

The one thing I do have a ticket for is Blizzcon 2016. Just like last year, the Warcraft Hunters Unions will be hosting the 3rd Annual All Hunter Meetup. Details are still being ironed out, but you can sign-up and donate to the cause. I’ll be sure to post more information as it becomes available and we get closer to the event. Here is a list of links on what we know thus far.

The podcast still exists! It has been a challenge getting everyone together to do a show the last couple of months. If all goes well, we should have a show this Sunday, May 22nd. I know Bendak is unavailable, but I’m hopeful that both Delirium and RogerBrown will be able to make it. If not, then we’ll probably try for a show in early June. Certainly by the time Legion rolls around, we should be back on a regular schedule.
